A sculpture of a tunnel boring machine (TBM), made from concrete and chukum. The work is 1.5 meters high.
The sculpture was one of the works made as part of Paledora Art Residency in Chemuyil, Mexico. The residency took place in a cave over the course of two months in 2021. The cave or cenote, are a regional phenomena that are historically considered sacred to the Mayan population.
